The family resort strip, not the party core
Macronissos isn’t Nissi. It’s the stretch west of Ayia Napa town where the hotel towers sit — resort-adjacent lets, holiday apartment blocks, and the waterpark that pulls families all summer. The crowd is different: longer stays, family groups, and the resort visitor flow rather than the beach-club party scene. That changes the turnover. There’s less of the daily group-cycling pressure that Nissi gets, but the summer volume is still high, and the sand and salt exposure from Macronissos Beach is the same.
We reset those lets between guests — the full between-guest reset, built for the resort-strip rhythm. Not a quick tidy, not a surface wipe. Photos land on WhatsApp before the next arrival.
What the reset covers, room by room
We work the property the way a guest will walk through it. Bedrooms first, every bed stripped and remade with the clean linen you’ve left at the property. Bathrooms next — sanitised top to bottom, mirrors clear, the shower that saw daily use properly done. Then the kitchen: surfaces, appliances, bins, floor. Living and dining areas get dusted, vacuumed, and mopped. Last is the balcony — swept where access is safe, the sand cleared. Then a walk-through, then photos on WhatsApp.
Sand, salt, and the resort-strip exposure
Macronissos Beach sits right on the let strip, and guests drag sand back into the flat every day. Add the salt air that coats the balcony and the shower glass, and the sunscreen on the tiles, and a resort-adjacent let gets the same exposure as anywhere on the east coast. We mop the sand out, wipe the salt-prone surfaces, and clear the balcony — it’s part of the reset, not an add-on.
Bedsheets, towels, and linen changeover
Bedsheets and towels: we change them when clean replacements are already at the property. If you need us to supply or launder them, that’s our hostready cleanup package — charged based on who provides it. In a Macronissos family let that’s often two or three beds’ worth of linen. If the replacements run short — common after a longer family stay — we photograph the bare bed and message you before touching anything. No guessing, no surprise charges.
Photo proof before the next guest walks in
Every Macronissos reset closes the same way. We walk the flat room by room, then drop photos into your WhatsApp thread — the made bed, the clean bathroom, the reset kitchen, the floors, the swept balcony. That lands before the new arrival checks in. Photo proof isn’t an upsell here. It’s just how the crew finishes a job and hands it back to you.
Timing, pricing, and booking a slot
A standard three- to four-hour gap between checkout and check-in is normal work for us on the Macronissos strip. Send both times on WhatsApp and we’ll tell you straight if the window holds. On price, lets are quoted per job from photos rather than a flat rate, because a studio near the waterpark and a 3-bed on the beachfront are different amounts of work. For context, small apartments usually start from about €45, and larger resort lets sit above that. Same-day cover is on request when the diary allows — send the flat, the date, and a couple of photos on WhatsApp and we’ll reply with a clear answer.
Where we cover around Macronissos
Macronissos Beach, the waterpark area, and the West Ayia Napa resort strip — plus Ayia Napa centre, Larnaca, Limassol, and Nicosia. A let just off the strip we haven’t named? Send the pin and we’ll confirm if we can take it.
