Move-out cleans for absent Ayia Napa owners

Summer in Ayia Napa doesn’t ease up. Groups rotate through flats off Nissi Avenue and houses above Fig Tree Bay, sometimes back-to-back for months. By the time the last checkout lands, the place has taken a full season of wear — and most of the owners we work with aren’t on the island to walk through it themselves.

That’s where an end-of-tenancy clean earns its keep. We come in after the final guest or the end of a let and take the property back to handover condition, then send photos so you can see it without flying out. You stay on WhatsApp, we stay on the ground.

The deposit points we go at

A move-out clean isn’t a tidy — it’s aimed at the spots a landlord or agent deducts for. We work the inside of the oven and the fridge, descale the bathroom tiles and shower heads, wipe down cupboards inside and out, and clean the fixtures, switches, and skirtings that get ignored between guests. Walls get marks wiped where they’ll come off, windows are cleaned where we can reach, and floors get a real mop rather than a quick pass.

A group flat that’s run all July and August usually needs the full treatment — grease baked into the oven, limescale built up over the season, sand worked into every corner. We adapt the depth to what we’re looking at, not a fixed checklist waved over the place.

Why this isn’t the same job as a turnover

A turnover flips a flat between two guests in a few hours — beds, bathrooms, kitchen, floors, out. An end-of-tenancy clean takes longer and goes deeper because the goal is different. The property has to come back in the condition a deposit or a landlord handover depends on, not just look good for the next arrival. If you run short-lets too, we can do either — just tell us which one this booking is so we plan the time right.

Linen, and what we don’t supply

Bedsheets and towels: we change them when clean replacements are already at the property - we don’t supply the items ourselves. On most move-out cleans there’s no linen change at all — the outgoing guests leave, the laundry goes out separately. If clean sets are waiting at the property and you want them laid out, tell us when you book.

Photo proof when you’re not here

After every move-out clean you get photos in your WhatsApp thread — the oven, the bathrooms, the floors, the fixtures. If something’s broken, missing, or worn when we arrive, we photograph it and flag it before we clean around it. No surprises buried under a tidy surface, and a clear record of the handover state for your deposit or your agent.

Peak-season timing and what it costs

Move-out and deep cleans are quoted from photos, because a season of group stays leaves a different kind of mess than a lightly-used flat. Small apartments usually start from about €45 for a standard clean; a full deposit-focused handover is priced on the photos. Send the size, the condition, and a couple of pictures and we’ll come back with a clear number.

August is the tightest window of the year in Ayia Napa and Protaras — diaries fill fast and checkouts shift at the last minute. Same-day cover on request when our diary allows. The earlier you send the dates, the more likely we can hold the slot. WhatsApp us and we’ll reply in minutes.

Areas we cover along the east coast

Nissi, Protaras, Fig Tree Bay, and Pernera — plus the wider Ayia Napa strip. Outside these? Send the location and we’ll confirm if we can take it on.
